Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These Terms and conditions govern the use of RecMusicians Pro Agenda (“the app”), available at https://recmusicians.pages.dev and as an Android app. The owner of the app is Richard Javier, in the Republic of Panama (“we” or “us”).
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, joining a group or using the app, you accept these Terms, the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What the app is
RecMusicians Pro Agenda is a free progressive web app (PWA) for organizing the schedules of musicians and groups: rehearsals, performances, recordings, vocals, sheet music, travel, places, members, notes, ideas and group messages. The information is stored in the cloud and synced in real time among the members of each group. If you turn on reminders, the app can also remind you of your events with browser notifications. The Android app is the same web app opened full screen through Google Chrome (Trusted Web Activity).
3. Free use and ads
The app is free and is funded by third-party ads served by Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the products, services or websites that are advertised: any dealings with an advertiser are solely between you and the advertiser. Advertising cookies are only used with your consent (see the Cookie policy). If we ever offer paid features, we will tell you clearly beforehand and will not charge you anything without your express acceptance.
4. Your account
- To use the app you must create an account with your name, your email and a password. Accounts are managed with Supabase Auth, which sends you account confirmation and password recovery emails. The same login account may work in other apps from the same owner.
- The information you provide must be true. Each account is personal: do not share it.
- Protect your password and do not use it for other services. You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you think someone has accessed your account, change your password and write to us.
- You can sign out at any time and delete your account from the app (My account → Delete account) or by writing to recmusicianspro@gmail.com.
5. Groups, hosts and members
- Host: whoever creates a group is its host. The host chooses a unique group code to invite others and can change that code at any time. The host edits the group's shared schedule (events, members, places, travel, messages and announcements) and can grant or remove editing permission for other members.
- Host responsibilities: share the code only with people you trust: anyone who has the code can join the group as a guest and see all of the group's content. If the code has leaked, change it and remove anyone who should not be there. Add other people's information (name, role, mobile number, photo) only with their permission, and keep the schedule up to date.
- Visibility: everything shared in a group (events, places, travel, messages, notes, ideas, member details and shared files) can be seen by all members of that group. Do not post anything in a group that you do not want its members to see.
- Members and guests: anyone who joins with the code does so as a guest and can see the group's schedule, messages, announcements, photos and PDFs. Only the host and the members the host authorizes can edit. If you leave a group or the host removes you, you lose access to its shared content.
6. Your content belongs to you
The sheet music, charts, audio, voice notes, photos, notes, messages and other content you add (“your content”) remain yours. So that the app can work, you grant us a limited, free, non-exclusive permission to store your content, make technical copies of it, sync it and display it to you and to the members of the groups where you share it. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the backup copies described in the Privacy policy.
By uploading content you warrant that you have the rights to use it: it is yours, you have permission from the author or rights holder, or the law allows you to use it. This includes copyrighted works such as third-party sheet music and recordings. You are responsible for your content. We may remove content that infringes rights or these Terms.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use the app to:
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy or other third-party rights;
- post illegal, violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory or hateful content;
- harass, threaten, deceive or impersonate another person;
- create offensive group names, profile names or group codes, or ones that are vulgar, discriminatory or impersonate artists, brands or other people;
- try to guess group codes or access groups or accounts that are not yours;
- send spam or use bots, automated programs or mass data scraping;
- attack, overload, bypass the security of or reverse engineer the app or its infrastructure;
- block, hide or fraudulently click on ads.
8. Intellectual property in the app
The RecMusicians Pro Agenda name and the app's design, text, graphics and code belong to its owner or its licensors. You may use the app for your personal use or your group's use. You may not copy it, resell it or present it as your own without written permission. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners (see the Legal notice).
9. Free service, “as is,” with no sync guarantee
The app runs on free third-party infrastructure (Supabase and Cloudflare) with usage limits. As a result, the service may be slow, interrupted or paused without notice, for example due to maintenance, free-plan limits or failures of those providers.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular, we do not guarantee:
- that changes will sync instantly or on every device, or that there will be no conflicts when two people edit at the same time;
- that it will work offline, or that what you do offline will be saved when the connection returns;
- that notifications will arrive on time, because they depend on your browser, your permissions and your phone;
- that the app will be compatible with every device or browser.
We may change, pause or withdraw features at any time.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Panamanian law, we are not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the app. This includes, for example:
- missed, delayed or incorrectly scheduled rehearsals, performances, recordings, trips or other events;
- changes that did not sync, or reminders and notifications that did not arrive or arrived late;
- loss of or damage to data or files, both on the server and on your device (audio files and voice recordings exist only on your device);
- content added by other users, hosts or members;
- interruptions or failures of Supabase, Cloudflare, Google or other third parties.
Recommendation: confirm times and places directly with your group and keep copies of your sheet music and recordings elsewhere.
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer that cannot be waived.
11. Account deletion and termination
- You can delete your account at any time from My account → Delete account, or by requesting it at recmusicianspro@gmail.com. Deleting it “deletes your RecMusicians account; if you use the same account in another app from the same owner, your access remains there.” Your profile and profile photo, your memberships, your personal schedule, your email and the photos and PDFs you uploaded are deleted, as explained in the Privacy policy. Messages and announcements you left in groups are kept with the label “Deleted user.”
- If you are the host of a group, when you delete your account the host role passes to another member, the longest-standing one. If no members remain, the group is deleted along with its shared schedule.
- Messages or content that were already seen or downloaded on other devices may remain there.
- We may suspend or close accounts or groups that breach these Terms, that put other people or the service at risk, or that have been inactive for a long time. We may also stop offering the app. If we shut down the service, we will try to give reasonable advance notice.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date and, if the change is significant, we will announce it in the app. If you keep using the app after the change, you accept the new version.
13. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Panama City, unless the law provides otherwise.
